Our Enrollment Agreement explains everything parents need to know about tuition, schedules, fees, and policies at Sunshine Daycare. It also outlines parent and program responsibilities, holiday and illness policies, and important guidelines to ensure a safe, consistent, and supportive environment for your child. Please review this document carefully before signing to complete enrollment.
To make sure your little one has everything they need each day, we ask parents to provide a few essential items such as extra clothing, diapers, wipes, bibs, and crib sheets. All items must be labeled with your child’s full name. Please review the full supply list carefully to ensure your child is always prepared and comfortable.
At Sunshine Daycare, we provide healthy, balanced meals that follow CACFP guidelines and introduce children to a variety of flavors, including Dominican-inspired dishes. Our August menu includes nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks such as chicken tenders with vegetables, grilled cheese with tomato soup, fish tacos, pasta, and fresh fruit daily. Our toddler curriculum is designed to spark curiosity and support developmental milestones through play-based learning. Each month introduces a new theme — from “All About Me” to “Weather & Rainbows” — with activities that build language, social-emotional growth, creativity, and problem-solving. Children explore colors, shapes, numbers, songs, and stories while enjoying hands-on projects, sensory play, and movement activities.
Our summer program is packed with fun and learning! Each week includes daily water play, art projects, dancing, and movement activities, along with special events like karate, obstacle courses, and Ice Cream Wednesdays. Please review our official holiday calendar for 2026. This schedule includes all closures, early dismissals, and special events such as our End-of-Year Family BBQ. Tuition remains due during closures of 2 days or less, while prorated adjustments apply if we are closed for 3 days or more. Families are encouraged to keep a copy handy for planning ahead.
